Funding Your Support
You may be entitled to financial support that can help pay for companionship and home support services.
Many people are unaware that funding may be available to help cover the cost of companionship and home support. Depending on your circumstances, support may be funded privately, through local authority schemes, benefits, or other funding arrangements. We are happy to point you in the right direction.
Direct Payments
Direct Payments are funds provided by your local council following a Care Needs Assessment. They allow you to choose your own support provider and remain in control of how your support is delivered.

Following a hospital stay, temporary support may sometimes be available through local authority or NHS services to help individuals recover safely at home.

Family members providing unpaid care may be entitled to a Carer's Assessment which can lead to additional support, respite arrangements or funding opportunities.
Private Funding
Many families choose to arrange support privately for flexibility, speed and peace of mind.
